What’s On

Yarndale is designed to encourage the sharing of skills and inspire visitors to celebrate all things handmade and get creative with yarn. Every aspect of the yarn journey will be represented, from the woolly animals themselves, through the various stages of production to the beautiful finished products.

OVER 180 exhibitors

We offer a huge variety of yarn inspired exhibitors to our visitors. Every year we like to offer something new and we are currently accepting applications for 2018 so why not apply to exhibit and reach over 8,000 potential customers in one weekend.

Applications for 2018 are now closed

WORKSHOPS

We offer a variety of different workshops where you can learn new skills & meet like minded creative people.

Workshops for 2018 are now available to book, check them out now.

Follow us on Facebook and Twitter for announcements.

CREATIVE DISPLAYS

One of the things that we most love about Yarndale is the way that it brings so many people together to celebrate a shared love of yarn and creativity. The community spirit that exists within the yarn-loving world is amazing, and lucky us, we get to experience this every year through our famous Creative Community projects.

SKIPTON YARN BOMBING

Started in 2013, the Yarndale Bombers have made an amazing Yarn Walk. Take the 30 min walk from the station to the Mart and enjoy lots of woolly pleasure, fill yourself with creative happiness, it should make you smile and laugh out loud.

NOT JUST YARN!

While yarn is firmly at the heart of Yarndale we also offer a range of entertainment throughout the weekend.
