Brioche Like a Pro: Next Steps with Gwen Wagner-Adair (SUNDAY AM)

Sunday 30th September
10.15am – 1.15pm (3hrs)

Ready to level up? Grab your needles and your sense of fun to see where brioche will take you next.

In this workshop we’ll make a cowl (knit flat – pictured) which showcases what you can do with increasing and decreasing in brioche. Brioche creates a dramatic and beautifully textured fabric unlike any other knitting, while knitting with only one colour of yarn at a time.

We’ll learn the principles behind how the fabric is constructed, learn to recognise different stitches in your work, and learn how to spot and fix mistakes.

If you’re new to brioche or want something simpler to start with, you can book the Beginner’s Brioche instead of or in addition to this workshop. The workshops are designed to flow into each other, so if you’re new to brioche you can book on the Beginner’s first and then you’ll be ready to attend Next Steps.
