Drawing with Thread – Using A Sewing Machine As A Tool For Drawing

With Rachel Anderson of Contrary to Reason

Sunday: 14.00 – 15.00

Interactive Talk with Demonstration

Using your sewing machine needle as a pencil you can create unique and original drawings on fabric.

In this talk we’ll explore various techniques, discover which fabrics are best, what foot you should use on your machine, and where to get your inspiration.

There’ll also be a live demo and Q&A to see this technique in action, ask questions and even try your hand at it yourself.

Participants will receive an information pack summarising the talk details to keep.
