Introduction to Amigurumi

Learn the basics of Amigurumi and make a start on creating your own cute little polar bear. Suitable for people with some crochet experience (able to work a foundation chain and double crochet stitch). You will learn how to work in the round in the Amigurumi style; how to increase and decrease; joining pieces as you go; finishing techniques.

Participants will receive the Little Polar Bear pattern, stuffing, yarn and safety eyes, comprehensive class notes.

Please bring 3.5mm & 4mm crochet hooks, locking stitch markers, tapestry needle, chenille needle (optional), scissors.

Sharon Carter is a freelance technical editor, yarn dyer, designer and experienced tutor. She has had several patterns published in both Knit Now and Crochet Now magazines. Specialising in crochet, she particularly enjoys teaching people and passing on her love of the craft.
