Last year, Yarndale took place online due to the pandemic and although it was sad that we couldn’t meet in person we were delighted that so many people were able to join us from the UK and overseas including many visitors who had never been to Yarndale before.
Following the success of this venture and to continue making Yarndale as inclusive and accessible to everyone as possible, we will be including a virtual element this year to run alongside the physical show.
[email protected] 2021 is included in the ticket price to attend Yarndale at Skipton Auction Mart which means that if you have a ticket for Saturday, you can still take part in the online events on the Sunday or anytime over the weekend.
When booking your ticket, you will be given a passcode to access the online content.
Or you can buy a specific [email protected] ticket for the whole weekend if you are unable to join us in person.
We will be publishing the schedule this week so you can plan your weekend, and although it may not be the same as actually being at Yarndale, we hope that you will be able to share some of the Yarndale experience and community spirit from the comfort of your own home.
The online content will include exclusive [email protected] exhibitors as well as interaction with some of the exhibitors directly from the show.
Exhibitors will be showcasing their products online, and there will be tutorial videos over the course of the weekend.
We will also have “live from the show” interviews and live Instagram sessions from:
- Botanical Yarn
- Cookston Crafts
- John Arbon Textiles
- Made & Worn
- Ripples Crafts
- West Green Loft Yarns
Matt Farci from Crojo.life and friend of Scheepjes and Yarndale will report live from the show and will introduce a series of pre-recorded interviews with three Scheepjes bloggers who will talk about their work: Martin Up North, Carmen Jorissen and Dedri Uys.BOOK YOUR [email protected] TICKET HERE
