Hi there! I’m Matt from Crojo.life. I have a passion for vibrant colours and fun makes. I love to work on crochet patterns that teach me new techniques and challenge me to think outside of the box. Alongside working on my projects, I have a real passion for photographing my work.
What started as a hobby has turned into a great big adventure, and I’m proud (and lucky) to say that I get to spend my days talking with designers and planning lots of exciting projects within my full-time role at Scheepjes. Once again, I’m super excited to be interviewing some fascinating designers for this year’s Yarndale!
Martin Up North
Hej! My name is Martin and I live with my family in Sweden, up north, in the woods. I am born and raised in the beautiful city of Vienna. My crafting journey started when I moved to Sweden in 2010.
Since then I crochet to keep my nervous hands busy. When I am not working on my crafting projects you will find me outside to capture the beauty of nature with my camera.
The contrast between the freedom of wilderness and the wish to control my hook and stitches as good as possible gives me inner peace.
Hi there! My name is Carmen Jorissen, and I’m the designer behind New Leaf Designs. I live in the Netherlands with my boyfriend and our cat in a quaint little house, with a sun-filled craft studio where I spend my days creating new designs, surrounded by yarn.
Knitting and crocheting are two things that fill my life with so much joy. I started both as a hobby in 2011 and in 2019 I achieved one of my dreams: becoming a full-time knitwear and crochet designer!
Hi, my name is Dedri, and I am the designer behind “Look At What I Made”.
By day I am a radiotherapist, a mum to 3 gorgeous young boys and one playful puppy, not to mention a wife to a very handsome and kind-hearted husband.
I love to crochet and I love to teach other people to crochet and to love it as much as I do. My granny taught me to crochet when I was a small girl, but it wasn’t until I was pregnant with my second son that I picked up my hook again.
Since then, I’ve designed many patterns, from puzzle balls to my Sophie’s Universe blanket. I’m currently working alongside a large community of crafters on my latest blanket design, Charlotte.
