Yarndale Hope Sock Yarn

As you know, we love our Yarndale community and love sharing with you a passion for yarn, creativity and all things woolly.

In our mission to inspire even more creativity, we are delighted to announce that we have collaborated with West Yorkshire Spinners, to produce our very own ‘Yarndale Hope Sock Yarn’ for you to use to knit wonderfully soft socks.

Worldwide Creative Project for 2020

Yarndale Creative Project 2020

This year we are asking you to make colourful dishcloths to help raise money for Martin House Hospice Care.

They are really fun to make – we would love you to share your patterns and ideas for colours and stitches. We have provided a knitted pattern and a crochet pattern for you to follow if you wish – but there really are no limits to your stitches or creativity!

Yarndale 2020

It is with great sadness that we confirm that Yarndale cannot take place as a physical entity this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

This is obviously hugely disappointing, but the safety of everyone involved is of paramount importance to us. We are now planning for a Yarndale weekend in September this year albeit in a very different form. We are exploring how we might share the spirit of the show online and working to find the right platform for you to enjoy Yarndale in a digital format from the comfort of your own home. We are keen to support all of our exhibitors who are of course the mainstay of the show and need to work out ways to do that. We will be in touch directly with all of you who have already bought tickets for 2020 by the end of May.

In the meantime, please watch this space. Keep following us on social media, keep an eye on our website and sign up to our newsletter to keep up to date with our latest news.

Above all, keep knitting and crocheting and sharing your designs and creations with us, please keep your wonderful dishcloths coming to support Martin House Hospice and let’s carry forward our spirit of togetherness, inspiration and passion for creativity.
