Introduction to Two Colour Brioche Knitting

Learn this amazing knitting technique to create a wonderfully squishy fabric. We’ll cover the basics of the two colour brioche stitch and the terminology. We’ll also explore a brioche increase and two simple decreases to create geometric shapes in your brioche swatch.

Participants will receive 2 colours of DK yarn to complete the swatch and printed instructions.

Please bring 5mm circular knitting needle (60cm long is ideal) and a pen or pencil.

Kath Andrews, in addition to designing, teaches knitting workshops, both in-person and online. Kath is an experienced and patient teacher. She loves teaching complete beginners (referring to this as “making knitters”) as well as diving headlong into complex techniques with more experienced knitters and seeing their faces as they achieve something new.
