There are entrances to the show at either end of the building: the Littondale Entrance and the Wharfedale Entrance.
There are 6 accessible parking spaces close to the Littondale Entrance.
This parking area is reserved for exhibitors. An area is designated for accessible parking at this entrance.

The nearest train station is Skipton. It’s a short walk from the station to the show and takes around 15 minutes through Aireville Park.

Take the bus from the train station to Yarndale. The Yarndale bus from the train station takes around 20 minutes and will drop off and collect at the Wharfedale Entrance.
Once through the ticket barriers, walk towards the doors to exit the station and take the exit to your left. These buses are accessible.
In the images below, you can see where to get the bus from Skipton train station to Yarndale.
The bus stop is immediately outside the station entrance.
Buses run every 15 – 20 minutes.
The bus stop at the show is at the Wharfedale Entrance.
There is level access via ramps.

The Yarn Walk through the park is signposted to and from the Littondale Entrance at the show.
Please note there are two flights of steps towards the end of the walk.
In the images below, you can see the walking route from Skipton train station to Yarndale.
Exit from the train station. Once through the ticket barriers, walk towards the fireplace and take the exit to your right.
Walk through the car park. Follow the pavement through the car park towards Broughton Road with the trees (and staff car park) on your right – follow the woolly bunting in the trees.
Cross over Broughton Road at the crossing opposite Herriots. Turn left along Broughton Road and then turn right up Carleton New Road to the canal crossing.
The canal bridge. Cross the canal over the bridge (please wait for any canal boats to go through first!)
Entrance to Aireville Park. Walk past Stepping Stones on the left and through the gates into Aireville Park.
Follow the Yarn Walk Signs. Exit the park through the gates, follow the road past the Leisure Centre on the left and round to the right past Skipton Academy up the steps and slope up to Craven College.
The Ribblehead Building. Follow the pedestrian route and the bunting through the Craven College car park, and along to the right of the Ribblehead Building
Follow the path round to the right through the woods, then through the gate and down the steps.
Cross at the crossing. Cross at the crossing and bear right at the trees. Following the bunting turn left along the pedestrian route through the car park to the Littondale Entrance.

Parking at the venue is extremely limited. There are parking areas at both ends of the building. Parking at the Wharfedale end is reserved for exhibitors. All parking is provided on a first come, first served basis.
The designated accessible parking area is close to the Wharfedale Entrance.
There are 6 accessible car parking spaces at the Littondale Entrance. Please park as directed by the traffic stewards.
We recommend parking at the Skipton Rotary Charity Car Park on The Bailey and taking the Yarndale bus to the show from there. The buses run from 9.30am and the car park closes at 6pm.
The show is held in a working auction mart.
The ground both outside and within the venue is uneven in places including ridged concrete in most areas. There are drainage runnels alongside some pens. Please take care.
Assistance Dogs are welcome in the mart. Water bowls are provided by the water station in The Gather. Other dogs, even really well behaved ones, are not allowed in the venue.
Essential companions or carers assisting visitors who require support must have a ticket to enter the show. Tickets for essential companions are free.
You may be asked to present one of the following:
Visitor toilets, including accessible toilets and handwash facilities are outside both the Wharfedale and Littondale Entrances. There are two accessible toilets inside at the Littondale entrance.

There are baby change facilities close to the Littondale Entrance.
The Gather is the place to go for general information or assistance from the team. It is clearly marked on the plan in your show guide and is close to the Littondale Entrance.
First Aid: If you need medical attention please ask for help in The Gather.
Meeting Point: If you need to arrange somewhere to meet, or have become separated from your group, please head to The Gather and ask the Yarndale Team to help reunite you.
We hope you will all feel comfortable in this airy, well ventilated venue.
There is a designated Quiet Space if you need somewhere calm to sit and take a moment out of the hustle and bustle of the show. The Quiet Space is in the centre of the pen area in the Stirton Ring. The entrance is opposite C12.
Water is provided in The Gather if you need to fill up your water bottle.
Workshops are held in the Workshop Theatres on ground level. There is level access to all.

Talks are held in the Yarndale Theatre.
There are two steps up with a handrail at the entrance. There is level access via a ramp. The bench seating is in tiers with steps down to each row. These steps do not have a handrail.
There is an area at the back where standing is possible with a rail to lean on. This area is accessible for wheelchairs via a ramp. There will be someone on hand to assist if needed.
The Yarndale Theatre

Refreshments are provided by High Laithe Catering.
There is a small concrete bund at the central entrance to the Lairage, there are staff on hand to assist if needed. There is level access and egress via the entrance at the end closest to the Wharfedale Entrance – see plan.
The Yarndale Shops are close to both entrances and will be open throughout the weekend so that you can buy your Yarndale goodies to take home.
We work closely with the local authorities to ensure the safety and security of all our visitors.
Bag checks will be in operation at this event.
To help minimise queues, we advise visitors to bring the least amount of belongings possible. Please do not bring large items of luggage since necessary security checks of large bags, rucksacks or suitcases may hinder your progress into the show.
