Knit Mitred Squares

Sunday: 10.30 – 12.30

Mitred squares are fun to knit and easy to adapt to a variety of projects and a perfect way of using up left over yarn. You will learn how to knit a mitred squares and how to pick up stitches and knit a second mitred square onto your first one. You will start a mitred square place mat during the class.

Skills needed: basic knitting skills: knit, purl, cast on and cast off.

Please bring: 4mm circular knitting needles (60cm long) (Anniken will have spare knitting needles for use in the class).

Participants will receive two 50g balls of dk yarn.

Anniken Allis is passionate about empowering knitters through her workshops and patterns. She has been designing knitting patterns and teaching knitting workshops around the UK & online since 2006. She has designed for a variety of knitting magazines & yarn companies in the UK & US since 2005. She’s well known as a patient, friendly and knowledgeable teacher.
