Best Stand 2023
A beautifully presented and well thought out stand and this year we felt Viola especially deserved the Best in Show accolade. It’s beautifully dressed, carefully done with handmade, homemade dressing, there’s no off the shelf display method – it’s all a bit higgledy piggledy will balls of wool in a wooden cart, not in neat uniform rows on grid wall.
It’s the antithesis of an exhibition stand in the ExCel Centre or the NEC. And of course there’s the rare breed sheep, with Viola always the centre of attention, star of the show. And it might be her last show (don’t cry!) so she deserves it.
