Tunisian Crochet for Beginners

Saturday: 10.30 – 12.30

Suitable for beginners, you will learn how to cast on and work Tunisian Simple Stitch; how to increase, decrease and cast off. You will also learn to work with 2 colours (this produces lovely effects with very little effort!) You will be able to work at your own pace and learn some additional Tunisian crochet stitches if time allows.

Participants will receive yarn, stitch markers and comprehensive class notes.

Hooks will be available to borrow on the day, or you can bring your own 5.5mm Tunisian crochet hook, 30cm long.

Participants should bring scissors, notepad & pen if you like to take your own notes.

Sharon Carter is a freelance technical editor, yarn dyer, designer and experienced tutor. She has had several patterns published in both Knit Now and Crochet Now magazines. Specialising in crochet and Tunisian crochet, she particularly enjoys teaching people and passing on her love of the craft.
