Learn to spin using a top whorl drop spindle.  Angela will take you through the basics of spinning, from choosing your wool, how to start your spinning, drafting your wool and turning it into a plied yarn.

Participants will receive a hand turned spindle, and fibres to continue working at home.

Angela’s textile life began early. Her Gran lived next door but one and taught her to knit, crochet, embroider and make rag rugs. After a 25 year career at BT she learned feltmaking, and twelve years ago became a partner in Adelaide Walker. She loves working with British wool and sharing her enthusiasm for fibre crafts.

A transaction is a sale or a top up.  Any remaining balance is cancelled on expiry.
