Woolly Wire Flowers

Create a treasured piece for your home or as a gift. As part of the workshop, you will learn how to shape two flowers with craft wire using a choice of templates. We’ll then use a knitting mill (like a knitting dolly but much faster) to create i-cord, finally combining the two to form your finished creations.

Participants will receive enough yarn and wire to make two flowers. Participants will have access to a knitting mill and wire tools to shape and cover their finished piece.

Sophie Hurden is a maker, teacher and designer, specialising in crochet and ‘woolly wire’. She loves working with yarn, and challenging herself with new textures, patterns, and techniques. Starting her business – A Spring Snowflake – as a way to share her ideas, she loves to teach people the skills to create their own pieces of yarn-art.
