Beginners’ Drop Spindle Spinning

Saturday: 13.30 – 15.00

Charlotte will take you through the basics of spinning, from choosing your wool, how to start your spinning, drafting your wool and turning it into a plied yarn.

Attendees will receive a kit worth £28 which includes a top whorl drop spindle to keep, printed instructions and fibres so you can keep practising at home.

Charlotte Battersby has been a partner at Adelaide Walker since 2022 and has quickly become an expert spinner. She has helped numerous people with their spinning, both in informal one-to-one sessions and group workshops.
