With Sophie Hurden, A Spring Snowflake

Create a treasured piece for your home or as a gift. You’ll learn how to use a knitting mill (like a knitting dolly but much faster) to create a long i-cord. You’ll then combine this with craft wire and shape your piece using a choice of templates or we may be able to create something personal on the day.

Participants will receive enough yarn and wire to complete one piece.

Teacher, designer, and vlogger, Sophie Hurden loves to introduce makers to new, or variations on familiar, techniques. She particularly loves to introduce class participants to ‘woolly wire’, taking inspiration from wire art and neon signage, as well as passing on techniques in crochet and Tunisian crochet.
