Polymer Clay Button Making

A fun class to learn two different techniques and make gorgeous bespoke buttons – bring your fibres with you so we can make to match your project if you wish! Please note: 1 set of buttons will be baked during the class and 1 set afterwards, to collect an hour later. Button making kits will be available to purchase.

Participants will receive everything necessary to teach the class and buttons will be completed during the workshop. Joanna will need to bake the second set after the class due to time constraints, and students can collect them later in the day or have them posted (extra cost). She will have kits available to buy on her stand if students wish to have their own.

Participants should bring any garment/project they would like to make buttons for.

Having had a career in graphic design and teaching, and inspired by a passion for pattern and colour, Joanna Hunter now makes colourful contemporary shawl pins, buttons, jewellery and accessories, hand‑crafted in polymer clay. Working from her Devon based studio, she also offers a bespoke ‘make to match your fibre’ service and continues to teach creative, polymer and silver clay workshops.
